Beatriz Jensen-Pérez has always loved the process of finding the perfect place to call home. Whether that means a vintage condo or new construction, she understands the importance of finding the right one!

Her love for exploring new neighborhoods, interior design, & all things Chicago led her to a career in real estate several years ago. She’s known for her friendly customer service, attention to detail, & willingness to guide her clients from start to finish.

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she has made Lakeview her home. She lives in a perfect vintage condo with endless charm, light & no shortage of new projects. What’s your favorite part of the listing process?

I have to say picture day! It’s so fun to get homes ready to hit the market, & sellers are always so impressed with how the pictures turn out. 

What’s your favorite part of the purchase process?

Obviously, when our offer gets accepted! Also, when the buyer gets to see the property for the second time during the inspection. I love that we have adequate time to look around, make sure everything is in working order (or not) & my clients can get to know the home better.

Tell us about your home!

I live in a vintage condo in a quintessential greystone in Lakeview. It has the biggest windows & the most amazing wood beams in the dining room. Our kitchen is my favorite part of the house – our massive island is perfect for everyone to gather around. We’ve definitely outgrown our space this year, but the charm & coziness are unmatched. I just love our little home! 

What does your perfect Saturday look like?

Head out the door with enough time for coffee & a pastry (ideally a chocolate croissant!) before hosting a packed open house. Back home, I’d spend some time picking out the perfect movie & we’d order takeout from one of our favorite spots. 

How would your clients describe you?

Patient + honest! Some clients are ready to go & some need more time to make up their minds. I love to give everyone as much time as they need & never pressure anyone to make a rushed decision. That said, I’ll let them know when it’s time to speed things up so that they don’t lose out on a place they love.
